Our story began in a way that perfectly fits who we are: a little unconventional, full of laughter, and meant to be. We first "met" online while Joshua was showing his artwork at Sonnenberg Gardens. Life kept us busy for a few months, but when Joshua returned to the area for the Christkindl Market, we finally had our first date. True to Joshua’s adventurous spirit, he was a bit late — his car had gotten stuck in the mud — but we still enjoyed a wonderful first evening together over dinner at Applebee’s, setting the tone for all the adventures to come.

That first date quickly became legendary between us, especially when it came time to order. We decided on a 2 for $20 meal — but not in the usual way. Instead of sharing, the entire 2 for $20 was ordered for just Marc, while Joshua looked on, completely appalled and entirely entertained. It set the tone for our relationship: a mix of humor, spontaneity, and never quite doing things the “normal” way. From that moment on, we knew life together would be anything but boring.

Since that night, our bond has only grown stronger. We love to travel and experience new places together, always chasing new adventures. Concerts are another shared passion, and there’s nothing we enjoy more than singing at the top of our lungs at a show or planning our next getaway. Whether it’s a local venue or a big festival, we know how to make the most of the experience. The energy, the crowd, and the music — it’s like we’re transported into another world where everything feels possible. It's in those moments, with music echoing around us and adventure on the horizon, that we feel the most connected.

Now, as we prepare to celebrate the start of our married life, we are filled with excitement for all that lies ahead. After the wedding, we’ll be escaping to the Caribbean for our honeymoon — ready for some sunshine, relaxation, and new memories. This next chapter is just the beginning of a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and love, and we can't wait to share it with all of you.
